Building Permit Information

Building Permit Applications – Online

The Village of Hampshire now offers a new convenient way to submit building permit applications online through a new software partner, Community Core™. All permit applicants must complete a one-time registration with Community Core™ to set up an account that may be used to complete several permit application now and in the future and to see the status of your permits.

  • If you are a contractor (home builder, concrete company, etc.), you may contact SAFEbuilt to set up a contractor account. This type of account will let you assign multiple contacts to your account so everyone on your team can see your permits’ statuses. Email hampshireinspections@safebuilt.com to register for a contractor account.
  • If you are a community member (resident, business owner, etc.) who will be applying for permits for your own property, please use the link below to enter your email and register as a community member. Shortly after registering, you will receive an email with information on how to access your new account. Register here for a community member account, and check your spam folder for the incoming email from no-reply@communitycore.com.

By obtaining a permit you are assuring that your project will be designed and completed to meet or exceed all safety standards written by the International Code Council and adopted by the Village of Hampshire.
